OSU International Symposium 2006
"Building an Environmental Information Network in the Asia-Pacific region"

Solutions to global and urban environmental issues must come from actions to deal with those environmental issues at the global level and response to them by individual nations and regions. Our country is highly expected to play an important role in addressing those issues as an industrialized and environmentally developed nation by our neighbors. From this point of view, OSU International Symposium 2006 is held toward building an environmental information network in the Asia-Pacific region, with the purpose of fostering mutual understanding of environmental issues and human resource who can play active parts on the international stage, llooking toward the environment in the Asia-Pacific region.
